ANALYSIS: A joint Fury-Quicks squad just won the 2010 WTA Asian Invitational tournament, so already at least a few of these players are used to advancing in the playoffs. This one should be an interesting match-up, the Quicks have looked good but haven't had the same roster for 2 gms in a row. The Fury have are completely revamped since (G) Joe Kim went down and (G) Steve Chen left for personal reasons. The Quicks are suddenly very undersized with (F) Alex Stewart out of the line-up but if they can get the same effort out of (C) Ezra Hoover as they did in their last game (also vs. NYF), they might be okay.
X-FACTOR: The line-up QIK is old-school Quicks but they'll need (G) "Vegas" Dave Wong on top of his game, scoring in transition and hitting open shots. NYF (F) Pat Layton can be a huge lift for the Fury off the bench if he can get it going offensively. He's tall enough to shoot over the top of the QIK defense and has all-around skills. -- The Jet

Wong is always capable of putting up big digits in scoring, you can't sleep on him. Cho is past his hot streak earlier in the season but is still more than capable of getting it going again.

This match-up toppled the top-ranked Fury two seasons ago. Young is really a (G) playing (F). If NYF can stay zone, Chang will be protected and make his usually solid contributions.

2010 Winner-Take-All Asian Invitational Tournament

This Saturday, May 8 at "The King," come out to see the best and brightest Asian-American basketball New York and DC has to offer.
Admission is FREE. All fans who come out will have a chance to win prizes donated by Nike Basketball courtesy of former Battlegrounds star Darren Jiang and Nike Basketball.
The WTA will feature powerhouse teams such as DC's Maryland Five Pillars led by former Gotham City Games MVP (G) Ali Azizkia, NYC stalwarts, the NY RL Cruisers led by (F) Tony Hu (2010 Salman Memorial IPNBT MVP) and (F) George Chan.
Not to mention, the Korean elite CK Spartans, with (G) Joe "Sonic" Kim, Dreamleague East, led by (F) Nic Echevestre, everyone's MVP, The Unit, champs in last year's P.A.A.G. led by NJIT (F) Arjun Ohri and an upstart NYC Quicks squad headlining speedy Baruch (G) Rommel Dolar and former CSI (G) Nick Mui.
All games may be reviewed by the BJ League in Japan and Asean Basketball league in SE Asia.
