Despite only 3 games this season, Chock's productivity is hard to ignore. His 25.3 ppg and 13.3 rpg was second only to FBK (F) Darren Jiang.

If not the best center in the ORC, Yu was certainly the most popular. His playoff peformance vs. CHR, however, earned him the spot.

F | Darren Jiang (FBK) Profile

PPG FG% 3FG% RPG SPG

DJ was the single most unstoppable player in 2K7 SPR. His combined 26.7 ppg and 14.6 rpg is unprecedented in FBNYC's short history.
F | Albert Chung (CHR) Profile

PPG FT% RPG APG SPG

*Top ten.  ^Leads League.

The lanky forward was a bit inconsistent in 2K7 SPR but at his best, Chung was a cunning slasher with the knack of finding open spots on the floor.
F | Varun Bhartiya (TFS) Profile

PPG RPG APG SPG BPG

9.8* 1.7 1.5* 1.5*

With solid numbers all around, Bhartiya's athleticism also made him one of the league's most exciting players this season.

Like FBE, the Juggernaut got off to a fast start then tapered off somewhat. Nevertheless, Youn might be the league's most versatile player.

PPG 3P% 3FG% APG SPG
17.9*
.446* .344* 3.3* 2.0*
*Top ten.  ^Leads League.

Despite playing as an undersized scoring guard, Lee made it look like his natural position, netting double figure points in all but one of his games.
G | Phillip Moon (CHR) Profile

PPG FG% RPG APG SPG
14.7*
.456 4.6 2.7 1.3
*Top ten.  ^Leads League.

The rookie sensation was perhaps the league's most explosive guard this season. His acrobatic play made him a highlight video regular.
G | Ren Hsieh (FBK) Profile

PPG 3P% RPG APG SPG
10.3
.432* 2.9 7.6^ 1.7*

With enough scorers on FBK, Hsieh relegated himself to playmaker this season as his knee recovered. He set the league mark for APG.
G | Jon Scheiman Profile

Always among the league's best, Scheiman is having his best season yet, while leading his team back to the FBNYC Championship game.

2K7 SPR Playoff PreviewFBNYC, 5.11.07
Occidental Conference
Oriental Conference
B Elite vs. The Fluctuations (-1)  [O/U: 143]

The Flux are only suiting out five for their 1st round playoff matchup with the B's. (F) Punit Menda, (C) Brandon Chock, (G) D.Q. Li and (G) Lou Dominguez will all be M.I.A. With their long roster, the B Elite should be in a better position late in the 2nd half, but they probably shouldn't wait until then to make a move. Their success will rest squarely on the back of BEL standbys (G) Will Lee, as it has all season, but he should get some help now from (F) Kon Cheung and the new Mehmet Okur, (C) Sanjay Khindri.

TFS is looking at a long road ahead with only five players for a possible two games. But late season addition, (G) Rathan Haran, has been on a tear since joining the team, averaging 17.0 pts, 5.5 rebs and 4.5 asts per game. He will the X-Factor on Saturday.
Fury Blue vs. Below the Rim (-8)  [O/U: 110]

The Blue went from 1st to last in the ORC with a quickness. And they can't seem to beat the Rimmers since last year's win in the Chip, having lost to them twice this season. If the Blue are gonna defend their title, they have a long road ahead. And they're gonna need big games from (F) Chris Youn and (G) Dan Kim, neither of whom delivered when the ORC title was on the line last Saturday.

BTR knows what to expect from the Scheimans & Co. But new additions (C) Jiang "I got more friends than Tony Hu" Yu and (F) Alfred Vaca are gonna be the difference for BTR. If Yu and Vaca can control the low-post early, the Blues will have a hard time finding points. It won't be easy, though, with bangers (F) Andrew de Leon and (C) Bryant Picone working underneath.
KENNY "THE JET" LI'S  LINE

Flux by 1. Book it. The B's have to prove they can win in this league before I start betting on them. Even outnumbered, I take TFS and if the over-under seems high, you didn't see their last one.
CHARLES BOK LEE'S  LINE

BTR wins this one easily. You know I like to hate on the Fury but honestly, they just looked terrible last week. Pointin' fingers, givin' up on the game... any trust they had is gone now. They need a leader to step up.
B Elite/The Fluctuations vs. Fury Black

Who's gonna stop (F) Darren Jiang? That's a good question and I don't know the answer. The kid has been relentless all season because his team is relentless in finding him. For the first time in his career, DJ has a point who's looking for him on every possession, and he's delivered. (C) Alvin Wang is questionable is for the game but late-season additions (F) John Han and (G) Zach Liu should fill in nicely.

The Rimmers played them well last week and proved it might be better to try and defend them than to outscore them. Other teams should take note.
Fury Blue/Below the Rim vs. Chivas Royals

It's Tony Hu's world in Chivas country and everyone else is just livin' in it, feedin' off it, thrivin' on it. There''s no question what you'll get from Hu, it's the rest of the Royals. Rookie sensation (G) Phil Moon is the X-Factor if he gets it going early. (F)s Albert Chung, Andy So and Johnny Lam have been inconsistent but haven't really hurt the Royals either. Whoever decides to step up will only be a plus.

Not having waterbug (G) Pete Song on Saturday would hurt more if they didn't pick up gunner (G) Mo Mirza. If Mirza and Moon can find the the range, look out below.
