Fury Black hold steady to no. 1 spot
DJ does it again... and again... and again Here we are another week down and only one more to go in the2K7 SPR regular season. The league has displayed a lot of parity in its abbreviated run, but a couple of teams are starting to hit their stride. Below the Rim has been clicking since they've found a solid inside complement to their dynamic backcourt in (C) Jiang "Just Ice" Yu. And the Fury Black have been cruising on the heels of (F) Darren Jiang since Week 1, except for that one blemish on the record, of course, to rival Fury Blue.
The Blue, the Royals and the Fluctuations could all use a solid win this Saturday to gather some momentum for the playoffs. Any one of these teams could instantly become a contender with a little late season chemistry. And I'm sure B Elite wouldn't mind a win either. -- K.J. Li

Will Lee is the Fastbreak Baron Davis... keep that beard comin' papa... how's it possible that DJ has only one block this season... timing, yea, but there's that effort thing, too... points are easy, defense is hard, my MVP plays D... has anyone else noticed that a member of either FBK or FBE leads the league in 10-out-of-12 statistical categories... Pogo has left the building.

With all due respect to BTR, the first loss might as well have been a forfeit. Granted, they still have one win over the Fury Blue, but they've got two losses to the Royals, a team the Fury has beaten. FBE also handed Fury Black their only loss of the season. That was the determining factor in the ranking.

in DJ's defense: if you watched the game, you'd realize that 60% of his points are on putbacks. that's why his rebounds are so high. he doesn't control the ball in the offense. he's a slasher and a shooter..the other 40% of his shots come off assists from teammates. you rarely see him going one on one.
in DJs offense: dj is a lovey dovey romantic that likes recieving flowers on the first date. he likes taking his ladies to flea markets and monster truck shows. the other day he left conditioner in his hair for 2 hours because he was mesmerized by re-runs of dharma & greg..tomorrow he will eat his toe jam.
