B league was the least staffed... full staffed = stats right away. Short-handed staff = getting stats from video which takes forever. Soon... soon, middle child.
sigh..

Just like the quinntessential middle child, the B league is the least loved. =(

FBNYC, 2.3.10
2K10 SPR Season Preview
For the first time, Fastbreak NYC's ELITE (BLUE) division will also serve as a scouting league for Asian pro leagues, the BJ League and Asean Basketball League. Accordingly, this may be the most talented group of teams we've ever had. Here's the breakdown...
Projected Starters
2K9 FALL Statistics
Gr
(G) Steven Chen
6.8 ppg, 2.7 spg
B+
(G) Joe Kim
22.3 ppg, 2.4 spg
A+
(F) Rob Toste
6.4 ppg, 4.8 apg
B
(F) Rich Chang
9.6 ppg, 8.0 rpg
B
(C) Bryant Picone
11.9 rpg, 2.1 bpg
A
1.) NYC FISTS OF FURY Defending Champions 2K9 FALL Record: 5-3 Projected Record: 6-2
Despite 2K9 FALL Chip MVP (G) Rommel Dolar taking the season off, the defending champs are your Pre-Season no. 1. And, that's because (G) Joe Kim is back. After (F) Harris Chung left for Hong Kong following the 2K9 FALL season, (G) Drew Chen took over the reins of the Slayers and dropped them down to the WHITE league. Kim decided to return to the team that made him a league MVP in 2K9 SPR.
With him will be the usual suspects, (G) Alex Cho, (G)Steven Chen, (F)Rich Chang and 2K9 FALL Defensive MVP (C) Bryant Picone. Losing Dolar and veteran (F) Daniel Kweon will be tough but joining NYF will be versatile (F) Rob Toste, rookie (F) Seho Lee and possibly Chinatown favorite (F) Will Cheung. His addition is as of yet unconfirmed but with or without him, NYF will return the same size and dynamism that made them a Championship team.
2.) Hypebeasts 2K9 FALL Record: 6-2 Projected Record: 5-3
The Hypebeasts were one poor game from making it to the Chip last season and 2K9 FALL MVP (G) Ian Yu won't soon forget it. The core is back, brothers (C) Howard Chu, (G) Leon Chu and reportedly (F) Jason Wu give them a tough and athletic young group. Veteran All-FBNYC (C) George Chan should also return. The spot left by (F) James Li who departed to bring his own expansion franchise will be tough to fill but in his place is the reliable (F) Dave Liu. New additions also report a surprise cameo from (F) Mamadou AKA 40 Cal from the K1X Lower Manhattan Classic.
Projected Starters
2K9 FALL Statistics
Gr
(G) Leon Chu
4.7 ppg, 2.9 apg

(C) Howard Chu
8.8 ppg, 6.2 rpg
B+
3.) NYC Quicks 2K9 FALL Record: 4-4 Projected Record: 5-3
The NYC Quicks return with virtually the same roster intact but (G) Ren Hsieh has replaced (G) Jason Chin in their two-point attack. If Hsieh is healthy again, he will give them a playmaker off the bounce they lacked last season. The return of veteran (G) "Vegas" Dave Wong gives them yet more firepower from the guard position.
(F) Alex Stewart, (F) Vic Chia and (C) Pat Pilar are welcome sights to bolster the low block but standout (C) Ezra Hoover has yet to confirm his spot. There should be some new faces as well as the return of versatile (F) Shaun Young despite his shooting woes last season.
Projected Starters
2K9 FALL Statistics
Gr
(G) Wilson Lew
8.9 ppg, 5.2 apg

(C) Pat Pilar
11.8 ppg, 5.4 rpg
B+
4.) Audacity of Dope 2K9 FALL Record: 2-6 Projected Record: 4-4
Captain (C) Len Kamdang brings back his AOD team with a bolstered front line and a new PG in the backcourt. Well-traveled vet (G) Jason Chin will give AOD more ball control guard than last season's stellar scorer (G) Usama Nausrudeen. What AOD needed more will be soon apparent.
(G) Andrew Hara will also return but AOD's biggest additions will be in the front-court as former Chip MVP (F) Yoshi Kagitomi and (F) Wilson Wang join the team. Both are veterans who bring a lot of savvy and much needed front-court scoring into the mix.

5.) NY Crossbearers 2K9 FALL Record: N/A Projected Record: 2-6
Veteran (F) James Li brings Chinatown stand-by, the NY Crossbearers, comprised of his longtime teammates for their first official FBNYC campaign. Lightning quick (G) Dave Zheng will be on the roster as well as lanky sharpshooter (F) David Li along with some new faces.
Unfortunately, as a new team, the Crossbearers get the default low-ranking. And, a glaring lack of size on their roster doesn't help either. But, then again, they ordered more than 16 jerseys so it's possible there will be more than just the 8 listed on the current roster.

Hello. My wife and I bought our house about 6 months ago. It was a foreclosure and we were able to get a great deal on it. We also took advantage of the 8K tax credit so that definitely helped. We did an extensive remodeling job and now I want to refinance to cut the term to a 20 or 15 year loan. Does anyone know any good sites for mortgage information? Thanks!

Im guessing this is Malik. You cant get on a team because you have a child and that's a distraction people just cant have. Pre fatherhood malik would have found a team. And i didnt advertise myself, our team was just looking for a heart throb to look good in team photos.

LEAGUEWIDE NOTICE: CHANGES IN DIVISIONS OF PLAY
FBNYC, 1.20.10
ATTENTION: SLIGHT LEAGUE-WIDE CHANGES IN LEVELS OF PLAY
If you're wondering where the GREEN league is and why have all last season's entries been moved, then please read on. We have decided that rather than start a new league when we have 3 usable league sites, to go ahead and bump all the current leagues up a level. This will not change the level of play you are currently at and no teams will be moved without notification.
It does mean, however, that there is no longer a GREEN league. If you are looking for the former GREEN league's schedule and home-page, it is now the WHITE league. The WHITE league is now in the RED league and the RED has moved to the BLUE. If you have any questions regarding these changes, please feel free to e-mail FBNYC Commissioner, Ren Hsieh (ren@fastbreaknyc.com). Thanks.
