The Boys came in with a league-best 3-0 record and would look to maintain their perfect record against a 2-2 Sex Panthers squad, who is coming off back-to-back losses after losing captain (G) Liren Teng to injury.

INSIDE THE STATS PRB (F) Dooley Watts' 20 pts, 14 rebs, 4 asts marks season-highs in points, rebounds and assists as well as his 2nd double-double of the season.
PRB (G) David Chu has scored 18 or more pts in 3 out of 4 games this season. His 7 rebs is a season-high.
SXP (G) Alex Cho's 29 pts is a WHITE league career-high and marks the 2nd straight game he has reached the 20-pt mark.
SXP (G) Rich Kim started the game attacking the hoop but an equally aggressive (F) Dooley Watts would match his production early on. SXP brought a balanced offense as (G) Alex Cho, (F) Chris Di and (G) Jimmy Fang each posted double-digit points. But, every step of the way, PRB would match. SXP took a 2-pt lead into the half on the inspired play of Cho (29 pts, 11-21 FGs) who has been on a tear of late in all three leagues.
PRB, however, would answer the dynamic play of Watts who was the most athletic player on the court and showed it. (G) Peter Park was also crucial, as he made strong contributions on both ends, turning into transition points and helping PRB match Alex Cho’s barrage of buckets. SXP carried a slim 1-pt lead into the final period but soon took control in the 4th in what seemed to be a Panther win.
But, with about a 1:00 left and SXP up 59-54, PRB captain (G) David Chu hit a deep 3FG to pull the Boys within 2. After a SXP miss, Chu drove to the cup and found (G) Stephen Ghee who drilled another big 3FG to give PRB a 60-59 lead. SXP's Cho then came right back with a tough fadeaway 3FG to give SXP a 62-60 lead. Watts then got to the line on the ensuing possession but was unable to tie it up, making just one FT. PRB then fouled SXP (G) Jimmy Fang who missed the first FT and got called for a lane violation on the second. At 62-61, PRB had one last chance to win.
The ball went in to Watts who was quickly doubled, Chu came off a curl but was closely guarded. Park found himself alone at the 3-pt line and Watts found him. His attempt was all net at the buzzer, and PRB ran out in triumph. 64-62 was the final as the Boys' perfect record remained intact. -- Stan Van Ghandi
